<p>The eCommerce Control Panel allows you to control various areas of your online store, including managing inventory, customers, orders, and site design. In this article, we will introduce you to your control panel.</p>

<p>The eCommerce Control Panel contains several sections allowing easy online store navigation. The Control Panel is broken up into several sections to quickly manage common features. Please select an option below for more information:</p>

<p>The taskbar, found on top of your navigation tabs, includes the following features to help better manage your store:</p>

<ul>
	<li><strong>File Manager</strong> - This is a tool for uploading images, files, eCommerce products, themes, and other data to your online store. You can also use the file manager to upload custom HTML pages.</li>
	<li><strong>Import/Export</strong> – This is where you can download your site’s Product, Order, Customer, Related Search Terms, Price Levels, and Category data into a .csv or .xml file. Once exported, you can work on your data and import it back to your store’s admin once ready.
	<p class="alert alert-warning"><strong>Note: </strong>The Import/Export feature is only available in Premium.</p>
	</li>
	<li><strong>Messages</strong> – This will open the message center, where you will see messages about updates or notices that concern your eCommerce store.</li>
	<li><strong>View Storefront</strong> – This will take you to your storefront.</li>
	<li><strong>Store Status</strong> – This will show as Online if your store is accessible by customers or Offline if not.</li>
	<li><strong>Help</strong> – This will take you to a page where you will be provided with details on how to contact support.</li>
	<li><strong>Account </strong>– Hovering over Account will display the type of eCommerce product you have and the domain associated with it. Below is an example:<br />

<p>On the left side of the control panel, you will find the Shortcut Bar, which contains the <strong>Quick Search</strong> functions, <strong>Bookmarks</strong>, and <strong>Additional Resources</strong>. These Control Panel functions are detailed below.</p>

<p><strong>Quick Search</strong></p>

<p>The Quick Search lets you quickly find Orders, Products, or Customers by entering the desired information in the correct fields.</p>

<p><strong>Bookmarks</strong></p>

<p>The Bookmark function works just like a bookmark on a web browser.&nbsp;If you are at a page in the Control Panel you wish to bookmark, simply click on the <strong>+ Bookmark this page</strong> link, give the bookmark a name, and click <strong>Add</strong>.</p>
